Welcome to a New Chapter!

This website is more than just a place to share my work—it’s a reflection of my journey, my passion, and the incredible people I’ve met along the way. Whether you’ve known me for years or are just now discovering my work, I’m so grateful to have you here.

For nearly five years, I had the privilege of working with the nonprofit organization DNAngels, where I helped countless individuals uncover their biological roots, find answers to long-held family mysteries, and connect with lost relatives. Along the way, I formed lifelong friendships and made unforgettable memories, both with my colleagues and the amazing clients who entrusted me with their deeply personal stories. The work we did together was truly life-changing, and I will always cherish the impact we made in the world of genetic genealogy.

A New Passion: Public Speaking

In the spring of 2023, I took a step into something new... public speaking at the Untangling Our Roots Summit in Louisville, KY. This was out of my comfort zone, but I DID IT!! From my very first presentation, I realized how much I loved it. There is something incredibly powerful about standing in a room (or on a virtual stage) and connecting with people who share the same curiosity, passion, and desire for discovery. Whether discussing genetic genealogy, unexpected DNA discoveries, or the emotional side of uncovering biological connections, I found that sharing my knowledge in this way felt natural and deeply rewarding.

Through speaking, I’ve had the opportunity to meet so many brilliant, passionate individuals, each with their own unique stories and perspectives. The conversations, the shared experiences, and the knowledge exchange have been truly inspiring. As my love for speaking grew, I knew I wanted to expand my focus in this direction.

A Bittersweet Transition

At the end of 2024, after much reflection, I made the difficult decision to step away from DNAngels. It was not a decision I made lightly, as the organization and the work meant so much to me. However, I knew it was time to focus on my family at home and embrace this new journey as a full-time public speaker.

While this transition is bittersweet, I am beyond excited for this next chapter. I look forward to continuing to educate, inspire, and support individuals navigating their own genealogical and DNA journeys. This website will be the hub for all my future work... upcoming speaking engagements, educational content, blog posts, and opportunities to connect.
