Aimee Rose-Haynes

DNA may tell you where you come from, but your story is what connects you to who you are. Genealogy isn’t just about names and dates—it’s about reclaiming identity, honoring heritage, and finding the family you never knew you lost.

Experience

Public Speaking Engagements

Since embarking on my public speaking career in early 2023, I have been passionate about sharing my expertise in genealogy and genetic genealogy at various conferences virtually and in person. I have had the incredible opportunity to present at notable events such as RootsTech and the East Coast Genetic Genealogy Conference, where I connect with fellow enthusiasts and professionals in the field.

Genetic Genealogy

I've been involved in genealogy since 2003, transitioning into genetic genealogy in 2015. As a former genetic genealogist and associate director for the nonprofit DNAngels, I have successfully solved hundreds of cases involving NPEs, adoptions, donor conception, and other family mysteries.

Aimee's presentation on genetic genealogy was delivered in a thoughtful manner that was clear and concise. She was kind enough to stand outside after to answer questions and just chat with us.

I saw Aimee at Rootstech 2024 and she did an amazing job explaining in such a simple way for a newbie like me to understand.
